20 December 2019: Withdrawal Agreement Bill moves forward

The Government has now passed the first hurdle of moving the Withdrawal Agreement Bill (WAB) through the first and second reading in the House of Commons, with a majority of 124 votes.

UK MPs will now leave for their Christmas break, and it will then be debated over three days from 7 – 9 January 2020.

The rest of the timetable is then in the Government’s hands.

Kuehne + Nagel will continue to participate in the practical application of any new UK/EU Free Trade Agreements being negotiated and keep everyone informed as more decisions are made.
