Operation Yellowhammer

Operation Yellowhammer is the code name used by the UK Treasury for cross-government civil contingency planning for the possibility of a no deal Brexit. It was updated by the Government on 2 August and looks at possible worst-case scenarios in order to mitigate risk.

Our planning has always been preparing us for a no deal Brexit, and will ensure we are ready no matter what happens on 31 October.

We are completely engaged with the Government in planning for a no deal scenario as a key stakeholder and a trusted advisor, and this will be our continued position unless anything changes significantly.
