What was the most memorable part of your graduate programme?

Having the opportunity to meet and work with a diverse range of people from different business units and from many levels within the organisation.

What do you enjoy most about working at Kuehne + Nagel?

Working for a dynamic international business and being able to collaborate very closely with our customers to act as an extension of their business. I also work with some fantastic colleagues which I think really makes a difference to your job satisfaction.

Where are you now and what does a typical day involve?

Currently I am working as an implementation project manager from the Kuehne + Nagel Birmingham office which is where the UK Integrated Logistics team are based. There is no typical week and that’s what’s really great about the role. Each customer is different and although we aim to follow a set project management methodology there are always new challenges and solutions required to meet the specific customer needs.

What advice would you give to future graduates?

Go for it, get stuck in, take every opportunity available and get out there and meet as many people as you can across the business. I’d also say recognise the value in taking time to learn the basics – the programme provides an excellent opportunity to experience every element of IL and a fundamental grounding will provide the platform you need to accelerate your career at Kuehne + Nagel.
