It can be overwhelming when we think about the challenges ahead of us to protect our planet and communities. We believe that the past year has made the importance of creating and incorporating a culture of sustainability even clearer.
Our sustainability program embraces the elements of environmental, social and governance commitments and creates the platform for us to support our partners on their journeys to switch to sustainable business solutions. At the same time, we have become carbon neutral for our own operations in 2020 and we have decided to proactively address the CO2 footprint of the transportation services performed by our suppliers too.
At the North West Aerospace Alliance (NWAA) annual conference on Sep 23, Lesley Brodie (Sales Director) and Howard Hughes (Director Government and Defence) will share some of our learnings to date and set the scene for an interactive session to spotlight the challenges we face together to keep supply chains moving as well as protecting our planet.
We’d love to meet you at our interactive workshop session: “Sustainability – our part in a race we must win” at the NWAA Annual Conference, Thursday 23rd of September at the Dunkenhalgh Hotel, Clayton-le-Moors.
If you would like to attend this workshop please register to attend the NWAA conference.
Opening the dialogue will help develop the sustainable logistics solutions of the future for everyone. If you can’t join on the day, please reach out directly to Lesley, Howard or Greg Lofts (Head of Aerospace and Defence Development) through their LinkedIn profiles.
You can read more about our sustainability programme in our Annual Sustainability report.
