Here are just some of the milestones we have achieved on our relentless journey towards sustainability which started in 2007.
Offsetting
In 2019 we launched our Net Zero Carbon programme for carbon offsetting and CO2 reduction for our suppliers, by 2030.
Re-wilding
In 2020 we began to plant a tree for every colleague’s birthday, to plant 75,000 trees in Bautista Chico, Mexico.
Partnering
In 2021 our Partner with Purpose collaborations saw us join forces with a series of organisations also intent on being sustainable.
Seeing
In 2018 we launched seaexplorer, a platform to help our customers access the most sustainable shipping routes.
Protecting
In 2019 we announced our partnership with Team Malizia to promote ocean science and education around the world.
Reducing
In 2016 we produced our first annual sustainability report on how to lower customers' carbon emissions.
Greening
One new initiative in sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), a cleaner substitute for conventional jet fuel to reduce carbon footprint.
Supporting
In 2021 our portion of apprenticeship levy funding is helping small businesses to develop their workforces.
